I am so thankful for the Word of God. It is the Holy Spirit Breathed life of the Living Word — our Savior, Jesus Christ.
I am never alone in my head or heart. Having the Word hidden in my heart protects me when the enemy pursues and sends projections to my mind. His intention is to hide the fact of the invasion of our thought life. “You’re stupid!”, “God can’t forgive you.” Or how about, “You’ll never change.”
“God doesn’t care about your situation, maybe He doesn’t even exist.” —
“God doesn’t love you.”
His words and His promises are our hiding place. David said in Psalm 119, “Your Word have I hid in my heart, That I would not sin against You.” In Hebrews 11:6 the bible says, “Without faith, it is impossible to please God.” In Ephesians 6, we are directed to take the shield of faith. Only faith can hold the Word of God. This will strengthen your faith when you need it most. Because God’s love encompasses His Word and in 1 John 4:18, It’s in receiving that perfect love that casts out all fear. The scriptures are His Love letter to us. They are filled with truth and promise. John 3:16, Jeremiah 31:3, Hebrews 13:5, Isaiah 1:18, Phillippians 4:8, Mathew 28:20, John 14:3 and, so much more.
Consider first the ultimate price He paid for us and with that consider the ultimate price believers have paid by faith, through the ages to bring this Holy Love Letter to us.
